COVID-19 STATEMENT

As a communications company, SCDS has carefully provided all of its clients with cloud only services which are currently unaffected by the physical location of our customers. Through the use of SIP endpoints, our UC-Connect application and/or Calling With Microsoft Teams, SCDS have ensured business continuity for its customers that could arise from areas of the COVID 19 crisis – this includes solutions for country lockdown or suppression of movement.

We are working remotely

Since the lockdown and restrictions commenced, own teams have been working from home. A culture of working from home is embedded into the fabric of SCDS and so the move into the Covid world was natural and any clients utilising our services should experience no change in service levels.

You will be able to reach the teams using the same telephone numbers and email addresses as usual.

Installations

Utilising existing internet access, SCDS can remotely deliver pre-configured SIP endpoints and/or our UC-Connect application for Windows/Mac/IOS/Android within a few days, enabling companies to employ a homeworking solution in a very timely fashion and without the need to visit site and impact Covid policies.

The vast majority of our products and related services, can be delivered safely, remotely and without any risk of Covid exposure.

On the rare occasions where we are required to visit a site, our staff will adhere to government restriction guideline and your policy for receiving visitors. We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep customers informed.

IT Operations

We utilise a highly resilient core network and business communications infrastructure. With this in mind, we foresee no negative impacts on our service delivery or quality standards, as more of our customers adopt remote working practices.
